We are actively collecting information and developing the site to provide location and contact information for area farmers markets and provides educational content for consumers to better understand the benefits of healthy food choices, prompting them to take part in the movement. In the future the site will host searchable listings and user profiles for both individuals and organizations that grow, buy and sell food native to the Rochester area. The site also plans to incorporate social networking capabilities along with interactive features such as media feeds, maps, and rating and feedback platforms.
