Several who we have worked with have been killed while waiting for their visas, so getting them here quickly is literally a matter of life and death. Once granted a visa, these families arrive to Rochester, NY with two suitcases each, in which to begin their new lives. Through donations of our community, we can help with first month's rent and security, furnish their apartments, and fund raise for a modest vehicle. is a New York not for profit corporation. All donations go directly toward helping this unique resettlement program in the Rochester, NY region. Our volunteers are from all walks of life, beliefs and political parties. In the true American tradition we all come together with the common belief of Keeping Our Promise that these men and their families should not be left to be tortured and killed because they had worked with U.S. interests and hoped for a more open society.
