The Rochester Avon Recreation Authority(RARA) has been providing recreational services to the communities of Rochester, Rochester Hills, Oakland Township, and the surrounding communities in Michigan, since 1946. We provide recreation programs for ages 6 months to 110 years, in a variety of areas. Including: Adaptive/Special Needs, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Martial Arts, Gym/Cheer, Sports/Leagu

Calling all baseball and softball players! We are once again teaming up with RARA Recreation and the United States Conference of Mayors to host MLB Pitch, Hit & Run on July 17 at Borden Park. This FREE event gives boys and girls an opportunity to showcase their skills for a chance to compete for a championship at the 2026 World Series. Register today at the link in comments.

Join our Viking Football Camp and build the skills every player needs to succeed! Campers will learn the fundamentals of offense and defense, improve their catching, throwing, route running, blocking, and tackling technique through fun, non-contact drills designed to prepare them for middle and high school football.
