SPLAT continues to enhance social awareness pertaining to the benefits of providing for the recreational/emotional demands for individual sports.
The Michigan DNR has announced the cities who were awarded funds for their projects. Unfortunately, the City of Rochester was not one of the recipients of the funds. The support for Rochester's application was amazing. That said, this grant opporltunity was highly competitive. 31 communities in the State will share $22 million in Michigan Spark Grants for outdoor recreation projects. Congratulations to all of those communities. The SPLAT will meet to decide the future of its endeavor. Thank you all so much for your never ending support.
