It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Iron Workers President Emeritus Walter W. Wise Jr.

Alongside our 130,000 members, the general executive council mourns the passing of a true, devoted brother. We honor his life and legacy by committing ourselves to the safety, well-being, and unity of our brothers and sisters, ensuring every ironworker may always return home as Walt so passionately hoped.
