NAWIC Chapter 346

Thursday night we hosted our industry appreciation event. It was a great evening featuring networking, a member project gallery and some fun door prizes. Our Annual Industry Partner award was given to McGough this year.

Tuesday the ladies of our chapter cooked dinner for the guests of the Hope Lodge.

Today we kicked off our meeting with a proclamation from Rochester’s Mayor Kim Norton. Officially declaring the week of March 3rd Women in Construction week, within the City of Rochester. We were also joined by Captain Kathryn Yetter with RFD, Kate Arms with Mayo Clinic Ambulance service, and Teagan Hood Beckman with RPD. These three ladies shared their experiences in their jobs in other typically male populated fields.
