A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a friendly atmosphere. Members learn communication skills by working in the Competent Communication manual, a series of 10 self-paced speaking assignments designed to instill a basic foundation in public speaking. Standing before several people to give a speech can be very frightening. When those several people are in the "same boat as you" it becomes very easy to talk and row at the same time. Join us. As guests you are always welcome, we hope you can join us for our next meeting on November 10, 2019, at the Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, New York, 14621, Weiner Conference Room, just off the main lobby.
Our meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month beginning at 12:45pm.

Please join us for an Open House meeting on April 24, 2016 from 12:45 PM - 2:30 PM. We meet at Rochester General Hospital, 1425 Portland Ave., in the Weiner Conference Room, which is located off the main lobby by the piano. You'll see our banner. This will be a special meeting, filled with fun, interesting stories, food, and information about the toastmaster's program, where leader's are made and people learn to give confident, effective oral presentations.
