Today marks the start of Waste & Recycling Workers Week, a celebration honoring the individuals in the waste and recycling industry for their hard work and dedication, helping to protect the health and welfare of our citizens and environment.
It is too often a thankless job and we encourage residents to join us in making time to thank each and every one of these indispensable individuals. It’s easy to complain when things are not done right. Consider calling or emailing your local provider or leaving a note for your waste & recycling collector with a word of appreciation for a job well done!
