Lamborghini has become the first European carmaker to implement a four-day workweek for its production workers without reducing pay.

The agreement with unions includes a hike in annual wages, additional benefits, and the creation of 500 new jobs.

Lamborghini’s deal with the unions is part of a broader renegotiation involving a framework contract for workers at its parent company, Volkswagen. The shorter workweek is expected to save production workers 22 working days a year.

The move follows successful trials of the 32-hour workweek in the U.S. and U.K., showing productivity, health, and job retention gains.

Justice may not have come quick, but it is nice to see !!
