Project Spotlight: Maplewood Community Library | Rochester, NY​

Vargas Associates is proud to support the transformation of the Maplewood Community Library as part of its exciting recent reopening. Working collaboratively with the design team, we provided interior design services for a vibrant, welcoming space that now serves more than 7,000 community members each month.​
​
The revitalized 9,688-square-foot library features a new addition, modern classroom spaces, an ADA-accessible entrance, and a secure outdoor play area for children, enhancing both accessibility and community engagement. This milestone project represents the library’s first major renovation since its original opening in 1959.​
