In the spring of 2023, I ripped a tendon while playing tennis. I spent a few months laying in bed. During that time, I read a bunch of old stories and fairy tales that are part of the public domain and thought about how fun it would be to create an album based off of these stories.

Thus, Folk Songs for Fairy Tales was born.

This past winter, I recorded a video game soundtrack with my good buddy Nick Bonilla.

This was an interesting project because we weren't commissioned to create for a specific video game, so we invented a video game in our minds, drew up and map and plotline for the game, and then created songs for important moments along the way. We also created original characters and songs for them.

If anyone wants to hire us to make music for their video game, that would be a dream come true for me.

Either way, it makes for a fun album of music.
