My trivia page doesn’t invite much interaction, but I’m posting this here as trivia has been what’s lead me to want to evolve and use my talents and connections in more meaningful ways.

My first production, a storytelling event and fundraiser called ‘Stories from MN: We Belong,’ brought together ten presenters. Some were light, some were heavy, some were informative, all were humanizing.

I was honored that Colin Hortman, son of late Mark and Melissa Hortman, wanted to develop a story about his parents share it with a live audience for the first time this past April. It’s a story of how a kitchen scene, four days after their murder, is a beautiful demonstration of love. And how he wants to recreate their last evening together. I hope he’s doing that right now.

Today marks one year since Colin and Sophie Hortman lost their parents to political assassination. And rhubarb is now in season. Take a listen, you’ll get it.
