Our second year with stock and our first year with feverfew! I just KNEW I was missing out with the feverfew! I love it so much, so easy to grow, and according to my mom, "so easy to harvest!" The back beds, minus two, are almost w**ded, and the flowers are coming in so well! Happy to report, that much like our dahlias, we aren't seeing any signs of fungus or disease. Japanese beetles are another story, but we'll deal with them later. Happy Friday, friends! It's all happening! Oh, and if you're a Michigander, try and stay out of this terrible air! If you have to go out, be careful!
Another from the archives! It has been a heavy week for us, friends. My wonderful Father in Law, Dr. Zac, passed away early Tuesday. We're truly going through the motions right now. If you're waiting for a message back from me, I promise it's coming. I'm just - blah. I did get to pop outside for a few minutes yesterday to w**d, and the time outside was so necessary. Dreaming of more pretty flowers and buckets of dahlias to get me through. My favorite things about my Father in Law were so simple: he loved a good margarita (especially when we made him one from scratch) and some ice cream after dinner. He'll be missed so much and we'll be thinking of him for the rest of our days.
