Kenaniah Project

Hello everyone, it’s been awhile since we introduced ourselves and so we wanted to make a re-do to include photos of our new members! We’re the Kenaniah Project, and we’re so excited to share our music, strange photos of Dylan and Kellen (see #9), terrible jokes, and more with you. Thanks for joining us for the journey!

A little bit about us… We are a musical ensemble that was formed in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. Originally a group of friends from the Eastman School of Music, we are now spread out all over the country where we continue to study, play in professional orchestras, serve as ministers in local churches, and/or serve as music teachers. Our first meetings as a group were on Zoom where we discussed what it means to be artists of faith and the unique perspective we can contribute to the two communities that we dwell in: the church and the world(s) of classical/jazz music. With this in mind our mission statement was born: to unite faith and artistic excellence for the glory of God. Our goal is to fuse elements of classical, jazz, and folk music as each of us brings our eclectic musical experience to the collaborative creative process.

We’re so excited to get to share the many projects we have in the works and for you to be a part of this journey with us!

TONIGHT at 7:30 pm in Tibbitts it is time to ROCK with the Kenaniah Project! We’ve been preparing this program all week for you guys and can’t wait to share. Come on out to hear favorites by Stevie Wonder (feat. a special guest!), the Beatles, Disney hits, classic hymns and worship songs, and a special surprise by our percussionists.
