Innovation Partnerships recently announced the launch of the second cohort of the Accelerate Blue Foundry ‼️

The Accelerate Blue Foundry bridges the gap between startup founders and some of the most promising innovations from University of Michigan research. By connecting top entrepreneurial talent with U-M technologies, the program will accelerate the path to startup launch, fostering new ventures that have the opportunity to solve the world’s great challenges ✨

Participating entrepreneurs will be matched with promising U-M technologies, giving them a pathway to commercialization with hands-on mentorship and resources. The program runs from December 2025 through May 2026. Teams will work with inventors and the Innovation Partnerships team to develop commercialization strategies and pitch for an opportunity to launch their venture. The Accelerate Blue Fund has committed to invest at least $50,000 in each credible startup coming out of the Foundry. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with one of the nation’s leading research institutions and transform YOUR ideas into scalable ventures!
