Why is marriage so hard? It might be "The Curse." 🍎

We often think we are just arguing about dishes or schedules, but the Bible goes deeper. In Genesis 3, after the Fall, a curse was placed on humanity that specifically attacks marriage.

The Bible says the result of sin is that the wife will desire to control her husband, and the husband will struggle to rule over the wife.

As Pastor Dustin explains, "All of us are born into this curse... The failure of Adam is not just in eating the fruit, but in failing to do the things that God gave him to do."

But the Gospel gives us a way out. We don’t have to live in the power struggle of the curse. We are called to a better way—serving one another out of reverence for Christ.

The process of following Christ is like a careful restoration, where the Master's hand gently cleans away the debris to reveal the beauty and value that was there from the very beginning.
