Artist Spotlight: Caleb Carpenter

After nearly a decade of touring in a nationally renowned rock band, Virginia-based singer-songwriter Caleb Carpenter pivoted his creative vision toward uncharted waters with the launch of his solo project in 2022. Seeking to move beyond familiar sonic boundaries, Carpenter teamed up with longtime friend and industry veteran Mitch Parks (Ed Sheeran, Patrick Droney) to craft a refined and refreshed musical identity.

Blending elements of pop, alternative, and soul, Carpenter’s songs balance emotional depth with broad appeal. Tracks like “Déjà Vu” and “Time Bombs” are built to resonate—inviting listeners in with honesty, melody, and a sense of shared experience.

“With this project, I really wanted to write songs for people—to create conversations and connect with the listener,” Carpenter says. “When you can put your song into someone else’s story, it becomes part of their life soundtrack. We all love and lose, experience joy and heartache—that’s what makes us innately human. And that’s what I’ll continue leaning into.”
