A season of hope continues to unfold along our shores. 🌊🐢
As we approach the halfway point of nesting season, our Research team has documented an incredible 12,841 sea turtle nests, and counting! With months of nesting still ahead, every effort to protect our beaches and coastal waters continues to make a difference.
As nesting season continues, you can help protect nesting mothers and hatchlings by remembering to keep our beaches:
🌙 Dark – Turn off lights at night.
🏖️ Flat – Fill in holes and knock down sandcastles before you leave.
🧹 Clean – Remove all trash, beach furniture, and personal belongings.
Every nest is a reminder that your actions matter. Thank you for helping us protect these incredible animals and giving future generations of sea turtles the best chance at survival. 💙
