Oh to be 21 again…. I surprised my daughter Heaven with this cake for her 21st birthday. Actually we surprised her with a party. We had all her closest friends. Even ones she hadn’t seen in a long time. She texted me a pic of a cake she wanted a few months before her birthday and said “Mom can you make me this cake but a fake one?” Of course I told her yes😜. We didn’t talk about it again after that. So when it came time for her birthday I was like “I’m gonna make my baby her fake cake”. I’ve never done one like this before so I started researching. Turns out it’s not that hard after all. The “cake” is a styrofoam cake covered in fondant and I used putty for the ”frosting” (I just added pink dye to it) and chocolate melts for the drip. I even added glitter to the bottles to make it fancy like my daughter😂. I just happened to find a Brats doll that looked a bit like her too (wrong color eye though). She use to play with Brats dolls when she was little so it seemed more fitting for her. Boy was she surprised not only with the party but that mom remembered she wanted a fake cake and exactly how she wanted it. Score one for mom😂😂. I did make cookies and cream cupcakes for all the party guests which are her favorite. So yes there was still “cake” technically 😜.

So you know that song you hear all over TikTok “Let’s skip to the good part”? Well that what I hear in my head every time I see pics of this cake😂. There’s so many details to this cake that I’m not sure I can even post. I freaking love the Goonies! We had an absolute blast working on this cake. We just kept coming up with more and more details as we went along. This was a really hard cake to give to my client😂. They were blown away when they seen it. It was for an 80’s party. Everything on this cake was edible too. Once again Corinne LaRae Jones out did herself with the details on this cake. I mean look at that treasure chest and the skull!! She nailed the Goonies sign and the boat. The map was hand drawn on as well with edible markers. I can’t even explain how proud we were of this cake. I hope all of you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as we do.

Now this one…this one is very close to my heart. This Winnie the Pooh was made for my other adopted daughter Melanie. Melanie is my daughters best friend and someone who spent a lot of time here at our house. This cake and cakepops were for her baby shower for the cute little Miss Gali. Oh that baby has stollen all of our hearts too I might add. She has her mommies little s***k and attitude 😂. She has her Nina Heaven wrapped around her little finger too😜. All the little bees, bee hive, honey bucket and dragon flies are hand made with fondant again by Corinne LaRae Jones. She even added the little touches of grass and bee trails. Thank you Mel for letting us be a part of welcoming Gali into the world and our hearts❤️

Now here was an awesome cake! All of the little piece aside from the characters were all hand done in fondant by none other then my bestie Corinne LaRae Jones. I mean wow look at those details. We had a blast doing this Squid Games cake. I made my girl watch the show before we started work on this cake just so she could get inspired and boy did she😂. The tree and name plate were done in card stock by my daughter. These pictures don’t even do this cake justice. Thank you ladies for all your help. Oh and my client absolutely loved their cake❤️

Is she not cute or what?? This little cutie was 4 layers with funfeti cake and pink frosting for the filling. The birthday was my sweet little cousin Addie. Boy was she so happy when she seen her. Every color was exactly as she wanted. Happy Birthday Miss Addie. The eyes, ears and horn were done in glitter cardstock. The only part of her that wasn’t edible.

Look at this beautiful cake and cupcakes. I couldn’t have done this without my very talented best friend Corinne. She did all of these flowers by hand from fondant. I mean is this not beautiful 😍. I was asked to do this cake and cupcakes for a long time clients grandmother 90th birthday. 90!! Wow! I couldn’t be more pleased with how elegant and beautiful this all turned out.
