The Inlandia Institute is a lively center of literary activity serving the 29,000 sq. It grew out of the highly acclaimed anthology Inlandia: A Literary Journey through California’s Inland Empire, published by Heyday Books in 2006 with the active participation of the Riverside Public Library. Books, writers, giveaways, and a chance to discover your next favorite read, all happening this Thursday!
Join us for Inlandia’s Indie Author Fair from 5:00–7:30 PM at the Riverside Main Library Community Room. Meet local authors and illustrators, browse and purchase books, and connect with fellow book lovers from across the Inland Empire. Plus, several participating authors have generously donated signed books and/or merch for our raffle giveaways, giving attendees even more opportunities to take home something special.

The 2026 Pura Madre Design Contest is officially open! We’re looking for an original design to be featured on merch with all proceeds supporting Pura Madre creative workshops for moms.
