Jessica Qattawi for Riverside

🚨Please Read‼️ It has recently been brought to my attention through multiple incidents that people have been going around spreading misinformation about me and labeling me as part of a specific political party. I also found out that one of my opponents sent out a letter attempting to associate me with a particular party affiliation. I want to take a moment to personally clear this up for our community.
I am No Party Preference. I vote based on the issues, the facts, and how decisions will affect our residents and our future. One of the biggest reasons I decided to run is because I’m tired of the division. Labels and political parties have divided people for far too long, and I believe our community is stronger when we come together, listen to one another, and focus on real solutions.
I hope my presence in this community encourages others to see that unity is more powerful than division. We may all come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives, but at the end of the day, we all want safer neighborhoods, better roads, opportunities for our families, and a stronger future for Riverside.
I also want everyone to know this: if someone knocks on your door claiming to speak for me, and it’s not me, please understand they do not speak for who I am or what I stand for. I personally go door-to-door because I believe residents deserve to meet ME directly, ask me questions, share concerns, and hear my vision firsthand — not through rumors, assumptions, or political games.
This campaign has always been about the people. About listening. About transparency. About putting residents first.
Together, we are stronger. 🤝
Vote Qattawi by June 2nd.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to meet me and hear my vision for Riverside. We had meaningful conversations about our community, our future, and the changes residents want to see. I’m truly grateful for all the support, encouragement, and love I continue to receive.
If we want a better future for our community, we need leaders who truly care about the residents and are committed to putting residents first. We are less than two weeks away from Election Day, and I hope everyone gets out there and makes their voice heard by voting for someone who is proving it with action and genuinely cares about our city.
Together, we can build a stronger Riverside for our families and future generations. 💙

Vote Qattawi by June 2nd for residents-first representation!
Vote NO on Measure Z.
Voting NO does not stop funding for public safety. The current Measure Z remains in place until 2036. What we need is a better solution — one that guarantees 100% of the money collected actually goes directly to public safety instead of into the city’s general fund, where it can be spent however city leaders choose.
Residents deserve transparency and accountability. When the city is spending $140,000 every six months on a childcare center, taxpayers have every right to ask questions. Are residents being expected to fund childcare for city staff and their associates while many families in our community struggle with rising costs themselves? That does not directly benefit the taxpayers footing the bill.
We can support police and fire without giving the city a blank check. Riverside deserves a measure written with clear protections and clear accountability for where every dollar goes.
Vote NO on Measure Z.
NBC & Telemundo covered Measure Z yesterday to help bring more awareness to the community.
🚨MUST READ‼️This one goes out to all the people who stopped voting because they feel like nothing ever changes.
To the people tired of polished politicians feeding us promises, saying what we want to hear, then turning their backs on the community once they get elected… I hear you.
That’s exactly why I’m running.
If you’ve been waiting for real change, you’re looking at it. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who has been in the community, serving the people, listening to residents, supporting local businesses, nonprofits, and families long before this campaign ever started.
We need leaders who will lead by example, stand up to the corruption, and put residents first again. Because if we stay silent and disconnected, things will only continue getting worse.
This campaign is for the people who feel unheard. For the people sick of politics as usual. For the people ready to take Riverside back.
June 2nd is our chance to show up and prove that the residents run Riverside — not the politicians.
