​About Us:
Wayne’s Engine Rebuilding has been serving Riverside and the Inland Empire with top-quality engine work. We take pride in precision and reliability. We are looking for an experienced machinist to join our busy shop immediately.
​The Role:
We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in cylinder head remanufacturing. You will be responsible for processing cylinder heads from start to finish with minimal supervision.
​Key Responsibilities:
​Disassembling and cleaning cylinder heads.
​Performing complete valve jobs (cutting seats, refacing valves).
​Installing valve guides and seats.
​Resurfacing cylinder heads (aluminum and cast iron).
​Pressure testing and magnetic particle inspection (magnaflux).
​Setting spring heights and assembly.
​Requirements:
​Experience is required. Must be proficient with valve seat and guide machines (e.g., Rottler, Robins, Serdi, or similar).
​Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial bore gauges).
​Reliable transportation to Riverside.

​Strong attention to detail—no shortcuts.
​Schedule:
​Monday to Friday
​8:00 am to 4:30 pm
