CLS was to participate in the UMD’s Domestic Violence Resource Fair, connecting students, families, and community members with information about legal resources and support services available throughout our community. 💜

CLS offices and Maryland courts will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, May 26th.

📢 CLS LAWYER IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM - CITY OF ANNAPOLIS ⚖️
CLS is partnering with the City of Annapolis to provide free legal assistance to income-eligible Annapolis residents through the CLS Lawyer in Residence Program at the Annapolis Office of Community Services’ Robinwood Satellite Office.

Beginning May 21, a CLS attorney will be available every Thursday from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. to assist with a variety of civil legal matters, including:

📝 Expungements
📄 Simple Wills & Advance Directives

Services include legal counseling, limited document preparation, and referrals. Assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you live in the City of Annapolis and need legal guidance, this is an opportunity to meet with an attorney in person and get trusted information about your rights and options.
