RF Performance Training

Got in a new trainee from Wanda Griffith. Byrd set out on day 1 of training Friday and had 2 big days into Saturday getting comfortable. We rode approximately 15 miles total over 2 days. He crossed logs, went through creeks and rushing water, rode with a large group but also set out solo. He's got a solid head on his shoulders and that's a testament to his solid bloodlines. He comes from a Top Moon and Doc Bar stud and out of an Impressive mare.

He is a half brother to my mare (out of the same stud), who is showing a promising barrel racing career. Hopefully Byrd will follow in the same footsteps. He will be focusing on arena work next week.
