Balance Reflexology

is viewed as the grandmother of Reflexology. Reflexology itself dates back to ancient Egyptian and Chinese times. Around the 1800's, Eunice Ingham and William H Fitzgerald coined the phrases Reflexology and Zoneology, respectively. Dr. Fitzgerald is credited with theory that the Human body was divided into 10 zones, and referred to them as the "Invisible currents of energy." Eunice is credited with taking it one step further and mapping the entire body in the feet, hands, and ears. This is where modern reflexology gets is western roots. Reflexology can affect positive change in the human body through applied pressure on the reflexes located in the feet, hands, and ears.
