The Countian has been asked to share that the meeting scheduled for August 19 regarding the proposed feedlot has been cancelled.

The Countian was asked to share the following message from Falcon Land LLC

Okay, we are set! A Cruise Night honoring all area 2020 graduates Saturday, June 6, 6-8 p.m. on Broadway Street in Riley. From classic cars to golf carts, from motorcycles to the family cruiser, come on out and celebrate the class of 2020! Decorate your vehicle if you would like, or invite a graduate to ride along. I've ordered a cake and Hiland Dairy is donating ice cream again. We'll observe the social distancing protocols while still showing our graduates some home-town love and support. Invite your friends, and especially make sure the graduates know and come. Hope to see you there!

With school cancelled, the Countian still has school and sports pages to fill.
