It was a warm summer day under the apricot tree.
She had her bottle of wine… her lover on her mind.

She takes a sip, and memories flood her mind.
She sees his tan skin under the summer sun…
the curve of his shoulder,
and how she longed to watch him move again.

It was only last night…
She kissed him… for the first time.

She tasted citrus, white blossoms, and the quiet warmth of their desire.
She leaned in to kiss him again.

As she parted, she knew that summer would never be the same. It would always carry his name.
