Brian Polhamus spent years traveling the world as God used each experience to help him discern his calling.
Keny heard the gospel through a pastor preaching on the radio while her family battled spiritual darkness in Mexico.
Neither of them knew their stories would one day lead them to the mission field — or to each other.
Brian studied abroad in Ghana, taught English in South Korea, and served in Costa Rica before rededicating his life to Christ.
“What people really need is Jesus,” he said.
Keny had already been serving in missions in Colombia and Honduras when the two met during a short-term mission project in Honduras. Six months later, Brian returned. In 2018, they were married.
Now Brian and Keny, along with their four children, are being sent to Colombia to plant churches among Indigenous communities using Bible storying to share the gospel.
God used faithful obedience to build a story bigger than either of them imagined.
