Today, we celebrate Juneteenth and honor the legacy of those who paved the way before us.

Join us in Richmond for a powerful Juneteenth Family Day Celebration on Saturday, June 20, as we celebrate Black freedom and resilience while uplifting our communities.

The day begins with the Juneteenth Parade from 10–11 AM, starting at 3506 Cutting Blvd and ending at Nicholl Park (3230 Macdonald Avenue), where the celebration continues through 6 PM. This is more than a gathering; it’s a space for connection, culture, and collective joy.

Enjoy live music, cultural performances, local food vendors, crafts, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant youth stage.

At Safe Return Project, we believe in the power of community to create pathways for healing, leadership, and second chances. Join us as we honor freedom not just as a moment in history, but as an ongoing movement rooted in truth, justice, and collective care.

This event is free and open to all.
