Riff Raff Revival

Here's a probably 2nd or 3rd generation restoration on these nightstands. Given the solid wood construction, it can withstand multiple refurbishments.

I primed them with 2-n-1 Blocking and Bonding primer, followed by a coat of Paint Couture Paint in Italian Ivory, Moxie by the Sea, and Espresso. A Van D**e Brown glaze was then applied.

The tops feature Unbridled Horse and Luna's Large Decoupage Tissue Paper from Whimsykel Designs, sealed with a layer of clear resin. Subsequent layers include stenciling, a mixture of Bronze Perfect Pigments and Espresso paint from Paint Couture in clear resin, and a final layer of clear resin.

Here is an unexpected revival in our bathroom. Our water heater busted and destroyed it.

I have always wanted to use an antique buffet as a vanity. My mom had the perfect piece. I did multiple layers of resin with mica powers and Paint Couture Paint. The wood was too gorgeous to paint over, so I just treated it with H**p Oil. Did a little gold highlighting on the carved areas to bring them out. The legs I spray painted with Krylon metallic gold and glazed them with Paint Couture Ravens Black.

I found this customizable wallpaper on Etsy for the water closet. The shop name is ChicoBumBum. They customized the print to fit my walls and make it as seamless as possible.

Now everyday I feel like I'm at a snazzy hotel. Ooo lala..
