I had the opportunity to volunteer with UEDA (Urban Economic Development Association) at Juneteenth MKE. What a beautiful celebration! Thankful for the opportunity!

Had a great time networking at the Brewers Game yesterday with MMAC. Laurice and I were able to meet some new folx and catch up with friends we haven’t seen in a while.

Words matter. Trust matters. Community matters. Thank you to everyone who joined my sessions at the Wisconsin Nonprofit Conference. I left energized by the commitment nonprofit leaders and consultants have to creating spaces where people feel valued, heard, and connected.

It was so good to connect with other people serving their communities in various ways.

Coming to a school near you…

We present to students and offer professional development for school staff to help build their capacity to know what to say and do when hurtful or harmful language occurs.

There’s something energizing about being with people who care deeply about students and helping others thrive.

This was our first WACAC MIDWest Conference 2026, and it was great to share about when we better understand ourselves, we can be better for one another every day.

Laurice and I loved the opportunity to spend time with such an engaged and reflective group. The energy in the room and the thoughtful discussions reminded us how important these conversations are.

Our session focused on how you show up matters. Together, we explored how our attitudes, assumptions, and habits impact trust, communication, collaboration, and results with clients and colleagues. Through reflection and dialogue, participants identified mindset shifts and practical strategies they can immediately apply in their work.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share this message and to learn alongside such a thoughtful audience. Thank you again, UEDA, for having us!
