Just back from and the fun of meeting so many awesome people, including my favorite podcasters, RH and AG of Opposing Bases! These guys keep me laughing while learning a ton, and broadcast live from the pavilion the other day. Highly recommend this podcast, can't say enough good things about it.

Awhile back, I did the math: if I live to be exactly 100 years young, I only have 18,250 sunsets left to enjoy. (By now it would be in the seventeen thousands but I'm adjusting my life expectancy upwards...😆)

Anyway, it was a bit alarming because every day the sun comes up and the sun goes down and have I REALLY enjoyed the day? Have I REALLY stopped to take in the sunset and the beauty of this planet? Have I REALLY lived how I want to live?

Nothing like Mortality Motivation to adjust one's priorities.

Here's sunset eighteen thousand something or other from this weekend, after a hearty hike. And now I'll stop counting. 😂

Among the highlights from Oshkosh... hearing speak about his experiences as a Red Bull Air Racer, the evolution of safety attitudes in the air race culture, the different airplanes he's flown in aerobatic competition over the years, and so much more.... thanks Mike for sharing your stories and wisdom! Incredible inspiration.
