Kaligrafos - Calligraphy Guild

Kaligrafos March Meeting this Saturday;

Spring is a week ahead, and Easter just in the corner. We’ll have some Easter themed program with Heather Held’s “ The March Hare”. A fun study of white space modeled with a touch of color, where our rabbit designs will come alive in decorative projects. If you want to participate, just print the handouts mailed to the members, and bring the list of material suggested for these fun projects. The program will be after of our preliminary seconds and announcement from the Guild. This meeting will be via zoom for our members that could’t assist in person.

Kaligrafos will meet at First United Methodist Church in Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080.
Our meeting room is the Ogden Fellowship Hall on the first floor.

Social time begins at 9:30 am. The business meeting begins at 10 am, followed by the program until noon.

KALIGRAFOS JANUARY MEETING, Saturday The 10th:

Our first meeting of the year will be packed with activities. This time will have a presentation by Carol DuBosch, demonstrating her whimsical (and deceptively easy) “Jubilee” Script. A simple to learn alphabet that every student can learn and personalize to their own writing style.

Carol DuBosch is a Calligrapher from Portland, Oregon that has a long career as a teacher and designer and his work has been recognized throughout the Continent and Overseas. Apart she has been director of 3 International Calligraphy Conferences in Portland.

For the participants at Carol’s demonstration; bring your printed handouts, paper and pens.

Valentine’s Day Social & Raffle; please bring your donations, assignments and sign volunteers positions.
