Dallas Renaissance Sword Guild
Drill on using Boar's Tooth offensively against a point forward guard. This drill is informed both by Fiore and Marozzo's material.
The Student in Boar's Tooth beats the coach's sword and follows up with a cut to the head, hands, or leg, while the coach tries to defend against it. The mix-up between the targets will keep the coach off balance and guessing.
The Coach also will sometimes disengage under the student's beat and try to thrust them or hit their hands. The students were left on their own to figure out a solution to this problem. For the most part, they found that as long as you stick with the plan of boar's tooth rising up, then falling back down, they didn't need to fear the disengagement.
