Dallas PPA Meeting on February 11th

DPPA would like to provide further clarifications on Tuesday’s February 11th meeting. With SWPPA competition coming up around the corner, we are wanting to educate and prepare our members with all the knowledge that we can, of what to expect and the process.

Tuesday night, we are having TWO Print Competitions. Both Competitions will be LIVE!

The first competition is our normal monthly “Member Print Competition” that will be held live this month with judges critiquing and scoring “live”. Awards to follow as usual.

The second print competition that evening will be “Mock Print Competition” open to everyone that would like to bring 1 to 4 prints to be judged live. These will not be eligible for awards, but critiqued in preparations for SWPPA or for your learning experience of how the process goes.

Where the confusion has been, is when signing up for the general February meeting, only register your print and sign up for print competition for your “member monthly print completion” that will be held live for the monthly awards.

If you have 1-4 prints in addition that you would like to enter in the “Mock Print Competition”, do not register for these on line, they do not require the $5 fee and will not be eligible for the monthly awards. The mock print competition if for your benefit only, to see live feedback of your prints.
