The Backyard Flora

This is Morgan, and she joined The Backyard Flora last week as a garden hand to help me bring a little balance to my life. 🥴

Morgan is currently a horticulture student at BYU-Idaho and has experience in gardening as well as working at a nursery and a brick and mortar floral shop. Basically she’s more qualified on paper for this job than I am 😂👌🏻

Morgan hopes to have her own flower farm someday (*don’t we all*) and is making a massive positive impact in the garden at The Backyard Flora.

I’ve been feeling for a while now like I’m drowning, and that my dream of farming might have to be put on hold because I just wasn’t performing well in any facet of my life. Ever since Morgan jumped in last week my mental load has been so much lighter, and I’ve been able to show up for my family in a much more intentional and impactful way. THANK YOU MORGAN!

Some of you may meet her at Farmer’s markets this summer (with me or without me). I know part of the charm of going to a farmers market is meeting the farmer, and when you talk with Morgan, you can rest assured you’re getting that experience because she has been out there in the dirt more than I have been recently.

So, this is Morgan. I’m so so grateful for her help and hope you all get to know her a little better as well this summer as she becomes an integral part of the day to day running of The Backyard Flora. Thank you Morgan!!!
