The new Minecraft geyser particle effects were fun to work with. Great for data center smoke stacks. Or playing a magical floating piano. Too bad they use so much water.

The piano song used in this video is called “ waking up to wedding bells “. It’s my most recent piano single out now on all streaming platforms!

Since the song has a joyous and wedding theme, I wanted to come up with an interactive mini game that somehow related to getting married. Catching a bouquet seemed like a pretty obvious choice.

A songwriting concept that has stuck out to me recently is the idea of taking a song that already exists and adding some sort of phrase at the end of it like “howl’s moving castle WITHOUT the howl” or maybe “fur Elise, BUT Elise is asleep”.

Since I write Relaxing Piano for sleep songs just about every day, I am always thinking of new ideas to inspire my writing. This new approach has been at times both challenging and fun. This song will be called “city of sleep“ and will be released on streaming services in a couple of weeks.

Since my relaxing piano songs/playlists have recently hit streaming services I have been trying to think of cool new ways to showcase the ideas behind the songs, as well as the songs themselves. I look forward to making more videos like this!

This is the first video featuring my starlight piano, which I recently built.

I will make these videos longer in the future I had to test a lot of things for this particular video – camera angles, lighting, how to incorporate the star lights, etc.

Who knew that a sound so jarring, when slowed down, could become so relaxing.

When I originally had this idea, I thought that it would take much much longer to try and find some sort of relaxing idea within the notes of the alarm. However, all I had to do was slow it down and something melancholy and beautiful came out.

This song will be featured in an album that I will release in a couple of weeks.

It will be available to listen to on playlists with added Rain Sounds, bird sounds, white noise, and many other relaxing environments.

And when it releases, the sheet music, MIDI, an audio downloads will all be free.
