Chris has been in love with cars almost his entire life. As a kid, he remembers helping his Dad work on the families’ ’71 Datsun 1200 and’72 Datsun 510, specifically touching up the paint on the grille emblems. Once he got a little older, his Dad was always quick to point out classic Ford Mustangs and help Chris learn to identify the subtle differences between a ’65 and a ’66. Although he has never owned one, Mustangs remain very special to him. It wasn’t until Chris’ first visit to Laguna Seca in Monterey that he fell in love with motorsports and sport cars. It was a the trip that turned him into a true car nut. Chris started detailing cars professionally over 15 years ago. He continued to do so off and on since then and opened Octane Detailing to pursue auto detailing as a full-time career. He is passionate about cars and truly loves maintaining them, and keeping them clean.
