Community is everything and we wouldn’t have been able to pull off any of the Affinity Celebrations without the help of our campus and community partners! During Asian & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we celebrate the history, cultures and contributions of Asian and Pacific Islander communities that enrich the University of Nevada, Reno and our nation. Nationally, API Month is recognized in May. However, at the University of Nevada, Reno, the observance is celebrated in April, allowing our campus to engage before May’s final examinations and commencement activities.
