Community, connection, integration and teamwork are words we should all try to incorporate into our lives more. Did you know the U.S has become the most depressed country in the world? There is a reason for this, it's not just a random thing that's happening. We live in a system that is designed to use us. In early stages of humanity we had to rely on each other more in order to survive, so we gathered in tribes. Now it has become a competition, who has the biggest house and the nicest car. We look over at our neighbors and compare ourselves instead of simply helping each other out. We trade all of our time for numbers so we can get what we need. This has created seperation within our society making everyone feel like they have to go about life alone. It's not working! The more we feed this system the more out of balance we become. Its time to start taking our lives back! How do we do this? My proposal is trade. Instead of trading my skills for money I am going to trade for food, clothing and whatever else I can as much as possible. Obviously money is still needed but the more we can start doing for ourselves and each other the more power we will have over our realities. Independence is very important and everyone should seek to be as self reliant as possible but there are a lot of times in life that we need help. It's important to reach out in those times and accept the help knowing you would do the same for someone else. We are all connected until we create lines of seperation. It's time for those lines to dissolve.
