Bella finally figured out that we feed her! And immediately became a REAL nuisance gator😂. This is why it’s illegal to feed gators in Florida, they can go from terrified to I’m going to eat you within moments of figuring out people are a food source! Bad for people, and bad for the gators since they’ll be killed. This is why I’m always stressing, never be a nuisance person and create a nuisance gator! Never feed a wild gator, keep kids and pets away from the water, and never swim in gator habitat. The state of Florida kills eight THOUSAND nuisance gators in Florida each year, because of nuisance people. It’s illegal to relocate gators over 4ft and the only way a trapper makes money is killing the gator and selling the meat and hide, so 99.99% of nuisance gators caught are killed. Public education is the most effective way to prevent this! A fed gator is a dead gator. Also, yes I’m wearing headband and look like a karate kid extra because it’s been so hot and humid I’m rubbing my forehead raw wiping away sweat😂We are also starting fundraising for the next set of rescue gator ponds, any help is greatly appreciated!!
