This year's inaugural infusion was scheduled for today, however, it has been denied. I've experienced annual denials for various reasons, highlighting systemic issues in our healthcare that prioritizes denial over care.

My care team is working on the prior authorization for my Intravenous Immunoglobulin treatment. I was born this way, and there is no cure.

The treatment cost is $9,000 per month with infusion clinic costs. I need this treatment every month to stay alive. If something is not done, I will be forced to do without and shelter at home. This is only a temp fix. Without this medication, every month I will become cachectic. This means I will literally waste away no matter how much I eat or sleep. I could also die of a simple infection.

I have not been able to work in months. Not even on music. I don't want to ask for help. I don't like not being able to do things like I could even a year ago. I can't even count on royalties to help pay a bill or two.
