Being a preschool sets us apart from daycare in that the child is being encourage to learn physically, emotionally, and socially: Rather than just being “watched”. Physically: by engaging in activities that encourage motor skills. Developing muscles, strength and balance. Games like Simon Says, dance parties and yoga all engage the whole body. Emotionally: by teaching the appropriate way to express feelings. Feelings both positive and negative. Socially: children need to be with adults other than their parents. To socially interact with peers their age and in group settings. In turn the interaction will help awaken and sharpen their language skills.
