Nick Shattuck
Born and raised in the blue collar Mississippi River communities of Western Wisconsin, Nick Shattuck adapted a bare bones, blues influenced honesty in his singing and songwriting from the start. Relocating to Southern California in the fall of 2011 with a bag full of folk/soul songs that liken him to a pleasant combination of Ray LaMontagne and John Mayer, Nick has quickly made a name for himself

An intimate night of songs, stories, and art, featuring an opening set by The Sunflower Academy before they join me as my backing band, with Steve Aguilar on keys for a fuller, warmer, more soulful sound.

Opening night was everything I hoped for and more.
A packed room, incredible energy, and so much support throughout the night. Getting to perform Kill a Poet on opening night, surrounded by the work it inspired, felt like a dream.
The gallery is open daily 10–5, and the show runs through 4/4.
Hang my toes above these river rocks silent night but the river talks
