Besa Gordon
Event vibes anyone? This week on Good Day Seattle, Besa Gordon switched things up once again after viewers showed love to this format. Instead of previewing what’s coming up on Back2Besa, she put the city on to some really dope events happening around Seattle this weekend.
From creative experiences to community-centered celebrations—and even a little baseball energy—there’s something for everybody. Whether you’re planning a date night, stepping out solo, or linking with friends, Besa made sure there are options on the list.
She highlighted four events that you should definitely know about—and they’re all listed below! You can get more details on each one by watching the video.
🗓️ Events she talked about:
• Poetry & Pour 👉🏾 Friday at Delancey’s on Third (live painting, music, spoken word + more)
• Renton Wine Walk 👉🏾 Saturday in Downtown Renton
• Black Earth Day 👉🏾 Saturday at Genesee Park & Field (free community celebration)
• Seattle Mariners Steelheads Sunday 👉🏾 Sunday at T-Mobile Park + after party at Steelheads Alley
Of course, Besa only has so much time each week when she goes on Good Day, so if you have more events people should know are happening this weekend, drop them below!
Baseball is back in Seattle ⚾️ and this week on Back2Besa, Besa Gordon is taking viewers beyond the game.
From the transformation of Rainier Playfield in South Seattle to a powerful story of resilience with Braided and Dreaded, this episode highlights what happens when community, culture, and opportunity come together. Viewers will also head to Alaska to see how a new indoor facility is opening doors for young athletes, tap into the MLB ID Tour as it creates real opportunities right here in the Pacific Northwest, and get a full look at what to eat this season at the ballpark 👀
More than just baseball, this episode is all about access, impact, and showing up when opportunity calls.
Watch Back2Besa this Saturday on FOX 13 at 10:30 pm and catch the replay Sunday at 10 am and 8 pm on FOX 13 + or stream anytime on the FOX Local app.
This week on Back2Besa, Besa Gordon is celebrating women entrepreneurs and creators who are building businesses and creating community across the Pacific Northwest. The episode kicks off in Seattle at MUVA, a creative space inside the Columbia Tower founded by artist Jonarra Swanson. Then Besa heads to Tacoma to check out Intentions Juice & Smoothie Bar, where founder Marquita Evans is blending fresh juice, wellness, and community together.
While in Tacoma, Besa also pulls up to The Trap Lab, a fitness studio created by sisters Icea Pettigrew and Sharde Bullard, where music, culture, and movement come together in high-energy workout classes. From there, the show travels to Portland to meet Tiquette Bramlett, founder of Our Legacy Harvested, a nonprofit opening doors for BIPOC communities in the wine industry.
Back in Seattle, Besa stops by ROJO Juice at Pike Place Market before wrapping things up at the 12th Annual Reign of Style Hair Show and Competition, created by Aisha Ellis-Asim, where creativity and beauty take center stage.
