Your RPF donations covered a cooling unit repair bill and groceries for Herschel & Shirley. Here is a note from Shirley -

“There are no words that could possibly express how grateful we are to The Rick Pankow Foundation and how it has impacted our lives.

We got old so fast and one day we realized we had no plan for retirement. So here we are, 84 and 87 yrs old, myself diagnosed with breast cancer and Herschel with Angiosarcoma, which has no cure.

Due to a bad back and cancer our motorhome (residence) has deteriorated some, leaking roof, tires, and then the refrigerator quit, to the price of a new one of between $2,000 and $3,000. We only have Social Security so a new fridge is out of the question. We have an amazing friend who suggested replacing the cooling unit instead of a new fridge.

RICK PANKOW Foundation paid, in full, the invoice and if that wasn’t enough, The Foundation gave us an additional $1,000 for food or whatever we needed.

WHO in the world does that? We are still in shock. THANK YOU RICK PANKOW FOUNDATION and to all the people who donate to this amazing foundation. You all have blessed us beyond words. Thank you, GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU! You have our undying gratitude forever.”
