It’s getting warmer outside... I’d say it’s time we get back to work! T.A.Co will be back outside, doing what we do best. (Cleaning up trash with grabbers and a rollie cart...) We plan to start up in areas near/in the Dry Canyon in Redmond. We’ve noticed that the areas we’ve cleaned up last year have stayed tidy over the last few months, and the areas we didn’t hit, didn’t change at all. Therefore we hope to finish the rest of the Canyon from American Legion to the Maple Bridge before mid-summer. In the meantime, if you grab a bag on your next walk or park trip and fill it with trash; future generations will see less, and hopefully, leave less.

Well darn it! We were hoping the rain would wait until the afternoon but according to the weather, it's only gonna rain UNTIL noon lol. That being said, due to the terrain of the clean-up area we will be postponing the clean-up until next week. We have our Tuesday in town clean-up but we would like to still get out there during the week so we're still on track.

Clean-up at Ochoco Res was definitely a success! Our total haul was probably about 50-60 pounds in about 2.5 hours. This haul was mostly cans, fishing line and cigarette butts (and a whole fishing pole in the water)... The work continues next week at the backside of Cline Falls... So much trash roadside and in the State Park area Week One that we didn’t make it to the non-maintained area. Excited to see what we can haul out of there.
