The first service for Trinity Episcopal Church was held in 1886 and the following year a church building was erected at the corner of Cypress and Center as was thought to be the center of town. In 1895 when the center of town shifted the church moved to Olive and now Cajon which is still called 'church corner' along with the Methodist, Congregationalist, and Baptist churches.
