Week 1 of Christmas Vacation is in the books! We talked about how the Word became flesh through Jesus. Our Big Idea this week was that God sent Jesus for a reason.

On Saturday, Pathway and 11 other churches spread out over Redlands to serve in practical ways at multiple worksites for a day of LOVE REDLANDS. Pathway Kids and their families served at a local elementary school by freshening up the teachers lounge, working on the community garden, painting sensory paths on the kindergarten playground and writing encouragement cards for staff. These girls created colorful pencil cups as accent pieces for the lounge! We love seeing them practice serving outside of the walls of church and loving on their community like Jesus. It was a beautiful day and hopefully just the beginning!
