ir child's advocate in educationally related matters. I support parents and their children by serving as a special education advocate at IEP meetings and helping parents work with and challenge the district to ensure that the school district and IEP team develop an IEP that provides the child the free and appropriate education that meets the child's individual needs. More importantly, I advocate for the parent's voice and the child's need to be heard and considered in the development of the child's IEP.
